Cedar Point has officially revealed one of the most exciting HalloWeekends additions in recent memory. Debuting this fall, DIABLO: The Infernal Path brings Blizzard Entertainment’s legendary Diablo franchise to life inside an all-new haunted maze created exclusively for Cedar Point and Kings Dominion.

A First for Cedar Point

This marks the first time guests will be able to physically walk through the dark world of Sanctuary from the Diablo video game series. The attraction is being released as part of Diablo’s 30th anniversary celebration and represents one of the highest-profile intellectual property partnerships Cedar Point has ever featured during HalloWeekends.

According to the announcement, guests will travel through corrupted environments where an ancient ritual has shattered the barrier between worlds, unleashing demons upon Sanctuary.

Along the way, visitors will come face-to-face with some of Diablo’s most recognizable villains, including:

  • Diablo
  • Lilith
  • The Butcher
  • Mephisto
  • Baal
  • Duriel

The experience promises immersive sets, intense close-quarters encounters, and the dark atmosphere fans of the franchise have come to expect.

Included with the Haunted Attractions Pass

DIABLO: The Infernal Path will debut during Cedar Point’s 2026 HalloWeekends season and will require a Haunted Attractions Pass.

For guests planning multiple visits, Cedar Point also recommends a Gold Pass, which includes unlimited admission to Cedar Point and all Six Flags parks in the Midwest Region, including Kings Island and Six Flags Great America.

Why This Is a Big Deal

Over the past several years, Cedar Point has continued investing in immersive Halloween experiences, but this announcement represents a major step forward by partnering with one of gaming’s most recognizable franchises.

The Diablo series has captivated more than 100 million players worldwide since its debut in 1996, making it one of the most influential action RPG franchises ever created. Bringing those iconic characters and environments into a real haunted maze has the potential to attract both longtime HalloWeekends fans and gamers who may be visiting Cedar Point specifically for this experience.

If the attraction delivers on its promise of immersive environments and legendary demons, DIABLO: The Infernal Path could quickly become one of the signature attractions of HalloWeekends 2026.

Kerney-cation Thoughts

This is exactly the kind of collaboration we’d love to see more often. Theme parks and video games both thrive on immersive storytelling, and Diablo’s dark world feels like a perfect fit for HalloWeekends.

We’ll be visiting this fall to experience the maze firsthand and will share our full review, photos, and tips after opening weekend. Stay tuned to Kerney-cation for continued HalloWeekends coverage throughout the season.
