Cedar Point has announced the 2026 season pass perks, and there are some big changes — especially when it comes to Early Park Entry. If you’re considering the Prestige Pass, here’s everything you need to know.
🎟️ Prestige Pass Perks for 2026
The Prestige Pass comes in at $199 (compared to the $99 Gold Pass), but it includes a ton of extras that can easily pay for themselves if you visit the park often:
- Early Park Entry (exclusive to Prestige holders + hotel guests in 2026)
- Free Preferred Parking – park closer, save those steps!
- 2 Bring-a-Friend Tickets per year
- Dedicated Entrance during Early Entry & up to 2 hours after open
- 1 Single-Use Fast Lane per visit – perfect for hopping on your favorite coaster without the wait
- VIP Lounge Access at Cedar Point & Cedar Point Shores – free snacks, drink stations (if you have a plan), alcohol purchases, and exclusive season passholder merch.
Some lounges will even feature rentable cabanas for a more private park experience.
🎢 Early Entry Ride Lineup
Early entry offers something for everyone:
- Kiddie Kingdom – great for younger kids before crowds arrive
- GateKeeper – big thrills right at the front gate
- Cedar Downs Racing Derby – a classic Cedar Point ride
- Iron Dragon (now with a lowered 42” height requirement) – family-friendly coaster fun
- Cadillac Cars – a nice ride for grandparents or younger kids
- Millennium Force – iconic coaster, perfect for thrill seekers
And unofficially, Top Thrill 2 and Siren’s Curse have been spotted running during early entry as well.
🏷️ The MVP Sale
Until Labor Day 2025, both the Gold Pass and Prestige Pass include the All Park Passport (a $100 value) giving admission to all 40 Cedar Fair parks. That’s a huge bonus if you plan on traveling to other parks in the chain.
💡 Is Prestige Worth It?
At $199, the Prestige Pass is double the Gold Pass price. But if you plan to visit Cedar Point 5 or more times a year, the perks (especially Early Entry, Fast Lane, and Parking) make it well worth the upgrade.
