Cedar Point’s HalloWeekends 2025 has officially kicked off, and this year brings some changes that guests are buzzing about. We attended opening night to check out all the haunted attractions, specialty food and drinks, and of course the brand-new premium screamium experience, The Conjuring Beyond Fear.

Haunted Houses – Now an Extra Charge

This year, Cedar Point made a major change: access to all five haunted houses now requires a Haunted Attraction Pass, which costs between $10–$30 per person, per night. For years, haunted houses were included with park admission, so this marks a big shift. The question is… are the haunted houses worth the upcharge, especially since many of them are returning favorites with only minor updates?

We went through almost every house (Sorry BloodBath) and shared our impressions in the video. We held the houses to a higher standard this year since there is now an extra cost.

The scare zones and entertainment are included with admission, so no need to worry about any extra fees there. The family day time is events are also included with admission, with the exception of a couple up charge experiences like face painting.

The Conjuring Beyond Fear – Screamium Experience

The highlight of HalloWeekends 2025 is the new screamium experience, The Conjuring Beyond Fear. Unlike a typical haunted house, this premium attraction is designed to be more immersive and intense. It costs $15–$20 extra per visit unless you purchase an Express Pass, which includes one entry to conjuring in addition to express access to all 5 legacy haunted houses.

But does it live up to the hype? We’ll walk you through our full experience and let you know if it’s worth the added cost.

Food, Drinks, and Merch

HalloWeekends also brought some fun seasonal extras. We tried spooky specialty cocktails and browsed the Halloween-themed merchandise that fans of Cedar Point and Halloween will love.

Is It Worth It?

Between the Haunted Attraction Pass and The Conjuring, a night at HalloWeekends can get pricey fast. In our video, we break down what’s included, what’s not, and whether these premium experiences justify the cost.
