What’s New in 2024!
Spooky Season is right around the corner and Cedar Point has published details for its yearly Halloween event, HalloWeekends! Make sure to check out our YouTube Channel for Media day from last year’s HalloWeekends, and opening night!
Two scare zones are getting updated this year and there will be a new stage show replacing the Midnight Syndicate Show.
- UPDATED : Clownz Death Metal Tour is now Clownz : Hall of Infamy Tour.
- UPDATED: Tombstone Terror-Tory has now been enhanced to Tombstone Terror-tory: Doc McCoffer’s Evil Elixirs.
- NEW: The Main Stage show hosted by Midnight Syndicate has been replaced by Midnight’s Curse.
- In addition to the above changes, we can probably expect some new never before seen culinary creations from Chef RJ. We always look forward to the spooky food and drinks offered at Cedar Point!
Haunted Houses
This year, Cedar Point seems to be sticking with their scare host Mr. Midnight. Last year Mr Midnight received his own special Haunted Maze after being introduced back in 2022, Midnight. In Addition to the four previous haunted houses are set to return this year. All houses below accept the skip the line option for Fear Lane, for a price.

Scare Zones
In addition to the two scare zones receiving changes this year, the previous 3 scare zones are set to return this fall. Corn Stalkers is always a highlight and attracts long lines during the spooky season! They usually set Cornstalkers to accept Fear Lane since it functions similarly to the Haunted Houses above

Shows and Entertainment
In addition to the brand new show for this year, Midnight’s Curse, some familiar shows and bands are set to return this year!
- Opening SCARYMONIES – Opening ceremony
- The Witch Sisters – Stories, Games, and Spellcasting!
- Wake the Dead: Murder Mystery Musical
- Fangs after Dark – Band
- Butchers of Rock – Band
- The Shrieks: None shall Mourn – Show and Songs?
- The Monsters are coming Charlie Brown – Family Daytime Show
Family Friendly Events!
During HalloWeekends, it’s worth noting that the whole family can go! Only certain parts of the park get spooky for those aged 13 and up while the front of the park remains family friendly. A big favorite of ours last year was the Boardwalk undergoing its transformation to the BoneWalk!
Besides the family friendly areas during the evening, there are family themed events during the day too ! Cedar Point offers trick or treating at 12 creatively decorated stops in Kiddie Kingdom for those 12 and under (including in admission), a kid friendly haunted house with no scare actors and the lights on, and tons more.
